Does your handbag sag at the bottom with all the content of things you carry? In this photo, there are actually two - 10 oz tins of soup weighing down and stretches out my handbag and I hate how it ruins the shape and how it looks ! It looks more like a bowling bag rather than a statement piece.
I came up with a DIY solution.
Why not make my own base shaper with foam core to enforce the bottom ! It's a very simple project and the end result ... let me say, you will be making more future cut outs.
Measure the bottom base of the purse and cut the foam core to size and round the 4 corners.
Place the foam core into the bottom of the purse. You may need to adjust the size by trimming until the shaper fits perfectly and sits flat.
Now, place all your valuable stuff back into the handbag with the kitchen sink. In my case, tin soup ( which represents the weight of the content ).
Tada!!!
No more sagging handbags!!!
Foam core is available at your local art stores and dollar stores.
